Our story

Our story, in our own words.

Our story started ten years ago in a college human anatomy class. We met somewhere between lectures, textbooks, and trying to make sense of everything we were supposed to be learning. One of us eventually found an excuse to ask the other if they had the book for class. As it turns out, the book was never really the point. Getting a phone number was. About a month later, we were dating. A couple of months after that, we were sharing a small one-bedroom apartment with Mya. It was the three of us, figuring things out together and beginning to build a life before we probably even realized that was what we were doing. Over the years, that little apartment became the starting point for countless memories. We grew together, learned together, celebrated some incredible moments, made it through the difficult ones, and watched our family and our life become something bigger than either of us could have imagined back in that anatomy class. Ten years later, so much has changed, but somehow it still feels like us. Now, as we look ahead to our wedding day, our family is growing once again with the arrival of our son, making this next chapter even more meaningful. It’s hard not to smile when we think about where it all started. One anatomy class. One very convenient question about a textbook. One phone number. And somehow, all of it led us here. Ten years down, forever to go.
